IA presents a workplace study for the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), illustrating how AEMO can evolve to address future workforce needs. Recognizing that the current infrastructure may not meet modern standards, the study recommends targeted updates to enhance AEMO’s workplace environment.
Key improvements include:

Three-Level Workspace Design: This plan features a main lobby with a high-security door on Level 12, a new high-tech bench area, and an expanded workspace on Level 13. It also includes a large breakout area designed to accommodate staff across all three levels, as well as an additional open workspace and a high-security staff office.

Modern Sit-to-Stand Workstations: These workstations will be introduced to meet both current and future ergonomic and health requirements.

Enhanced Security and Entrance: The study proposes improvements to security measures, a more attractive main entrance, and better wayfinding to facilitate navigation.
These enhancements are designed to create a more dynamic, secure, and inviting workplace for AEMO.
