Project Description:
IA Design has been engaged by Lids Holdings Pty Ltd to create a distinct Australian identity and design DNA for the brand in the Australian market. The design strategy includes a story-driven approach, from the shop front experience to the immersive interior focused on headwear.
Key design elements include:
• Use of Mesh: Employed in various ways to define spatial layouts, add depth, and evoke a sporting locker room aesthetic.
• Colour Scheme: A minimalistic palette with muted tones to highlight the products.
IA Design has completed and delivered 10 sites across Australia, including Geelong, Melbourne Emporium, Parramatta, Macquarie, Blacktown, Northland, Kotara, Narellen, Wollongong, and Melton. In 2023, the firm plans to adopt an aggressive expansion strategy to deliver additional sites nationwide.
